Lewis Named Vice President and General Manager of Kysor Europe - HVAC

    INDIANAPOLIS--Aug. 3, 1998--Schwitzer Group announces the promotion of Steven Lewis to vice president and general manager of Kysor Europe - HVAC. In this position, Lewis will expand his responsibilities to oversee market development, as well as manufacturing.
    Prior to the promotion, Lewis was vice president of finance and operations for the division, which he joined in 1992 as vice president of finance. His previous professional experience includes 15 years in the computer industry, working as financial controller of the European Business Products Division of Control Data Corporation and later in the positions of either finance director or managing director with niche computer software companies. Lewis holds degrees from Leeds University, Oxford University and Columbia University and is a Chartered Accountant, the U.K. equivalent of a C.P.A.
    Kysor Europe - HVAC, a division of Schwitzer Group, manufactures and markets heating and air-conditioning systems for trucks, agricultural and construction vehicles, as well as specialty vehicles. Kysor products are featured on the famous London black taxi cabs. Other customers include Case, JCB, Terex, Foden (Paccar), Caterpillar. Two-thirds of sales are exported to other European countries.
