HydroSpray and Hi-Performance Wash Systems Sign Distribution Agreement

    CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--July 28, 1998--HydroSpray today announced that it has come to an agreement with Dick Wells of Hi-Performance Wash Systems Inc. in Denver, Colo. to distribute HydroSpray car wash equipment throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Northern New Mexico.
    The agreement includes the right to distribute HydroSpray's newest product, the Rainmaker -- a cutting-edge computerized rotating wand spray system used in self-serve wash facilities that automatically adjusts to the dimensions of each vehicle.
    "We've been waiting for an industry manufacturer that generates the products we need to develop innovative technology in touch-free automatics," said Wells. "HydroSpray not only produces the self-service products we distribute to our world-wide customer base, it has exceeded our expectations with the new design, look and image of the Rainmaker, which we believe is the best in the industry."

    Wells has over 20 years experience in car wash manufacturing and distribution. He is currently the owner of Hi-Performance Wash Systems Inc. (formerly Miller Distributing) where he serves as President and CEO. Prior to purchasing Miller Distributing, he was a sales representative for the company. Wells began his career as a car wash owner and operator.
    Hi-Performance Wash Systems, Inc. (HPWS) has been a vehicle wash equipment manufacturer and distributor since 1958. As a leader in the industry, HPWS has manufactured and installed over 1,100 bays of self-service car wash equipment. The company also distributes portable and stationary pressure washers, mobile wash systems, wall mounted fluid modules and low pressure systems. In addition, HPWS has an exclusive partnership with Keltner Research, an electronics firm, to develop, update and distribute the Timemaster(TM), a digital timer for self-service car washes with real-time duration and cash display. HPWS also has exclusive rights to distribute and service the Microcoin(TM), an electronic jam-proof coin acceptor with the ability to take in twelve different coins in a single slot.
    HydroSpray is a 30-year-old company headquartered in Cedar Falls, Iowa that manufactures and distributes a full line of equipment, supplies, and components for self service and in bay automatic car washes, including vacuums, supply vendors, change machines, boilers, and water treatment equipment. Its latest creation, the Rainmaker, is an integrated unit that adjusts to the size of a vehicle and can be installed in a matter of days anywhere in the country by HydroSpray's nationwide network of trained service and support technicians.
