Federal-Mogul Appoints Lisa Bowman Weber, Manager, Community and Media Relations
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 27 -- Kimberly A. Welch, vice
president of corporate communications for Federal-Mogul Corporation
announces the appointment of Lisa Bowman Weber to the position of
manager, community and media relations effective immediately.  Weber will be
responsible for coordinating the company's corporate community relations and
charitable contributions.
    Prior to this appointment, Weber held the position of customer service
call center systems and techline manager.  She joined Federal-Mogul in 1981 as
a sales and service representative in Nashua, New Hampshire and has held
positions as territory manager -- Albany, New York, distribution center
manager -- Boston, Massachusetts, southeastern sales manager -- Atlanta,
Georgia, and reengineering team leader and customer service manager --
Jacksonville, Alabama.
    Weber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from
Michigan State University.
    Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, Federal-Mogul is a $5 billion
