Kaynar Technologies Inc. Announces Kaynar, K-FAST Receive ISO 9001/AS9000 Registration

    ORANGE, Calif.--July 23, 1998--Kaynar and K-FAST, divisions of Kaynar Technologies Inc. (KTI) , have successfully passed the rigorous requirements of ISO 9001 and AS9000.
    The companies were awarded a certificate of registration by National Quality Assurance (NQA), U.S.A., an internationally recognized registrar. Certificate No. 10309 is applicable to the Design, Development, Manufacture, Sales, Installation, and Servicing of Fasteners and Installation Tools, and is valid through Aug. 14, 2001.
    A complete review of the Kaynar and K-FAST Quality Systems was completed in March, and included a thorough audit of the 20 elements established by the International Standards Organization, as well as the additional qualifiers defined by the AS9000 Aerospace Basic Quality System Standard.
    Achieving ISO 9001 and AS9000 registration represents a great accomplishment for Kaynar and K-FAST who already have a long history of supplying quality fasteners and installation tools. The business system policy posted throughout the divisions serves as a daily reminder to all employees that: "Kaynar and K-FAST are committed to provide their customers with products and services that meet or exceed their expectations and performance requirements."
