Magnifoam Technology Achieves ISO 9002 Registration


    BARRIE, ONTARIO--July 17, 1998--Magnifoam Technology(Alberta Stock Exchange:MTG.) Magnifoam Technology International Inc. (MTII) today reported that its silicone foam manufacturing subsidiary, Magnifoam Technology Inc. (MTI), based in Barrie, Ontario, has received ISO 9002 registration from SGS International Certification Services Canada Inc.
    "ISO 9002 defines all aspects of a quality management system. Achieving this is a key step for MTI and reflects the quality systems and practices we employ every day in the silicone foam manufacturing process. It is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our employees in all areas of the business," said Thomas R. Ambeau, President and Chief Executive Officer, Magnifoam Technology International Inc.
    MTI is the second Magnifoam subsidiary to be registered to ISO 9002 quality standards. PolyFab Corporation, the design, engineering and fabricating group was registered in November of 1996.
