MSC Names Dan Bryce Chief Information Officer to Head Information-Systems Function
LOS ANGELES--July 9, 1998--Dr. Dan Bryce has been named by The MacNeal-Schwendler Corp. (MSC) as chief information officer (CIO).Bryce's responsibilities will include establishing the strategic direction and business contribution of the information-systems function for MSC throughout the world. He will continue to report to Lou Greco, chief financial officer of the Los Angeles-based company.
Bryce has been with MSC for 12 years, working on various projects in development organizations. After receiving his bachelor's degree from Purdue University, he obtained his master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Southern California, all in the field of graphical interface to temporal object-oriented databases. Bryce also holds a master of business administration degree from Pepperdine University.
He and his family reside in Altadena, Calif.
