Chrysler Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plants Schedule For Week of July 6, 1998

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 2 -- Chrysler Corporation
reports five of its nine U.S. assembly plants and one of its three
Canadian assembly plants will operate the week of July 6, 1998.
    Belvidere (Ill.), Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (Mich.), Newark (Del.),
and St.Louis-North (Fenton, Mo.) will operate two eight-hour shifts during the
week.  Conner Ave. (Mich.) will operate one eight-hour shift.  Jefferson-North
(Detroit, Mich.), Sterling Heights (Mich.), St.Louis-South (Fenton, Mo.), and
Toledo (Ohio) will not operate due to model changeover.
    In Ontario, Canada, the Bramalea Assembly Plant will operate two eight-
hour shifts during the week.  Pillette and Windsor will not operate due to
model changeover.
