Chrysler International Reports June SalesAUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 2 -- Chrysler Corporation announced that total international sales outside of North America were down 17 percent for the month of June, with 17,589 units sold compared to 21,177 units sold one year ago. Chrysler's Latin America region was up 10 percent for the month, but was offset by the 56 percent decrease in the Asia-Pacific region. Other regions include Europe, down four percent and Middle/East Africa, down 25 percent. Total international sales year to date are down 10 percent, with 104,185 vehicles sold in 1998 compared to 116,183 sold in 1997.
