Hyundai Motor America Announces Third Quarter Consumer Incentives

    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 1 -- Effective July 1, Hyundai
Motor America announced incentive changes on 1997 and 1998 models.  Incentives
are in effect through September 30, 1998.

    Listed below is the breakdown of the 1997 and 1998 model incentives:

                               1998 Model Year

               Eastern/Western/Central
               Accent                             $1,600
               Elantra                            $2,000

               Southern Region
               Accent Base, GS, GSi               $1,600
               Accent GL                          $1,750
               Elantra                            $2,000
               Tiburon                            $1,500
