Land Rover Reports June Sales

    LANHAM, Md., July 1 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. today
reported June sales of 2,487, marking the best month to date in 1998.
    Charles R. Hughes, President, Land Rover North America, Inc., said,
"Thanks to the success and strength of the 50th anniversary lease and
continued popularity of Range Rover, June was our best sales month so far this
year, the momentum just keeps building!"
