Uni-Select Inc. and Multipro Group Agree Not to Close

    BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec--June 30, 1998--Uni-Select Inc. (TSE: UNS) (ME: UNS) and Multipro Group have mutually agreed to put an end to the process which would have seen Uni-Select buy the activities of Group Multipro.
    The planned acquisition was announced in February 1998.
    The acquisition was scheduled to close on June 26 1998.
    Uni-Select is a public company specialized in the wholesale distribution of replacement parts for vehicles. Uni-Select shares (UNS) are traded on the Montreal and Toronto Stock Exchanges.
