ExproFuels Announces GFI Dealership Agreement
SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 30 -- ExproFuels, Inc. announced
today that it has become an official GFI Control Systems dealer.
ExproFuels anticipates substantial new business will result from its
agreement to represent GFI Control Systems in South Texas and Arizona. "Our
internal marketing research has pointed out a significant amount of repair and
maintenance work throughout the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area." Said Mr.
Tom Gose, ExproFuels President, "We also feel that by offering the GFI
conversion system, ExproFuels can continue its policy to continually expand
the options available to its many customers. GFI has been the vehicle
conversion system of choice for many years throughout the Arizona marketplace
and with their addition of propane conversion systems, we feel that together
we can expand GFI's presence within the Texas market as well."
ExproFuels is currently converting vehicles under the state of Arizona's
most recent vehicle conversion contract. The Company was originally awarded
the right to qualify for two separate state contract awards, which covered
natural gas and propane conversions. To date, ExproFuels is the only company
under either of these contracts to qualify vehicles under Arizona's strict
requirements for high vehicle performance and low exhaust emissions.
GFI manufactures fully electronic vehicle conversion systems for natural
gas and propane operation. It is also the tier 1 alternate fuel systems
provider to Ford Motor Company for their growing bi-fuel line of
natural gas and propane powered vehicles. GFI also supplies alternate fuel
engine products to Chrysler, Cummins Diesel and Detroit Diesel.
ExproFuels offers a complete package of vehicle conversions, fuel stations
and fuel to its many natural gas and propane fleet customers. These customers
number in the hundreds and include: school districts, municipalities, state
and federal agencies, various branches of the armed forces, foreign government
agencies and private companies across Texas, Arizona, Latin America and
Central Asia.
Currently, ExproFuels operates vehicle conversion and repair centers in
San Antonio, Texas and Mesa, Arizona, with affiliated shops in Dallas, Houston
and Austin, Texas. Additionally the Company owns and operates 20 propane fuel
stations for public and private fleets.
