Federal-Mogul Appoints Bernd Reifenhaeuser

Federal-Mogul Appoints Bernd Reifenhaeuser Group Controller, Sealing Systems - Europe
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 30 -- Kevin W. Baird, vice president,
Sealing Systems - Europe, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the
appointment of Bernd Reifenhaeuser to group controller, Sealing Systems -
Europe, effective immediately.  Reifenhaeuser will report directly to Baird
and will report on a functional basis to Jeff Kaminski, director of finance,
Sealing Systems.
    Reifenhaeuser's responsibilities will include all of the financial
functions of the Sealing Systems operations in Europe, Brazil, South Africa,
India, and China.  Prior to this appointment, Reifenhaeuser was group
controller, Aftermarket - Europe.  He joined Federal-Mogul in 1995 as the
assistant to the director of finance for the Engine Transmissions group in
Europe.  Previously, he worked as a senior auditor for BDO Seidman in
Charlotte, North Carolina.
    Reifenhaeuser earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and accounting
from the University of Cologne, Germany and completed an accounting program at
the University of Montpelier, France.  He also holds CPA certification.
