American Quantum Cycles Inc. Adds Ten New Dealers

Melbourne, Fla.--June 30, 1998--American Quantum Cycles Inc. (OTC/BB:AMQC) a manufacturer of premium quality, high performance cruising motorcycles Tuesday reported that it has signed ten new dealerships with ten more in process expected to be signed as dealers by July 15, 1998.
This brings the total number of domestic AMQC dealerships to eleven. Each dealership gets exclusivity based on a 1 million-person population in their trade-zone. If the dealership wants a broader area there is a corresponding increase in their minimum order requirement.
Mike Smith, vice president of sales, said "The ten new dealerships are strategically located with two in Pennsylvania, one each in Virginia, Wisconsin, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Colorado and three in Texas.
"The Colorado dealer wanted a double territory and could actually be counted as two dealers. A major attraction for the new dealerships is AMQC's unique Internet-based sales tool, called "DealerNet via the Internet."
Gary Irving, chief operating officer, went on to state, "Our DealerNet system will be launched in late July and will allow the consumer to design their own custom motorcycle at the dealership."
Richard K. Hagen, chairman and chief executive officer, said, "Each dealer makes a minimum commitment for ten motorcycles, so these new dealerships represent sales for 110 motorcycles. When the ten dealerships in process are completed by mid July, we will be 90 days ahead of our business plan schedule with 21 dealerships, a significant accomplishment for a young company."
AMQC is currently in production and is accepting qualified dealer applications.
American Quantum Cycles is a new entrant into the worldwide motorcycle industry with a state-of-the-art engine utilizing a patented four-valve head for greater power and lower pollutant emissions.
