Chicago Motor Speedway Names Joe Ferrazza Director of Public Relations

    CICERO, Ill., June 29 -- Joe Ferrazza has been named the
Director of Public Relations for the new Chicago Motor Speedway at Sportsman's
Park in Cicero, Ill.  Ferrazza comes to the speedway after spending four years
with the Chicago Bears Football Club as the Manager of Publications in the
team's, marketing department.  Prior to joining the Bears, Joe worked as an
account executive at JTC Advertising in Chicago.
    "With auto racing being one of the fastest growing sports in the country,
I am excited to be a part of its growth right here in Chicago.  I think this
is a great addition to Chicago sports, and I look forward to watching auto
racing catch on right here in Chicago," said Ferrazza.
    The reconfigured facility at the new Chicago Motor Speedway will feature a
one-mile oval track for auto racing and a seven-furlong horse racing track.
Construction will be completed in time for a fall 1999 Championship Auto
Racing Teams (CART) inaugural FedEx Championship Series race.
