Caliber Acquires Brown and Brown Body Shop Inc.

    IRVINE, Calif.--(AutomotiveWire)--June 24, 1998--Caliber Collision Centers, a leading collision repair provider to the insurance industry, Wednesday announced the acquisition of Brown and Brown Body Shop Inc., located in Denton, Texas.
    "The addition of this center will allow Caliber to better serve the needs of our insurance customers in this fast growing area," explained Joe Sanders, Caliber vice president, corporate development. "This acquisition in Denton fits well in our strategy to be the leading collision repair provider in the Metroplex, with convenient coverage in all areas."
    Established in 1958, Brown and Brown Body Shop is a 14,000 square-foot facility that provides foreign and domestic paint and collision repair and factory precision unibody repair.
