AlliedSignal Completes Purchase of Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals S.A.

    MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J.--June 19, 1998-- AlliedSignal Inc. said today that it has completed its acquisition of Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals S.A. (PFC) of Lugano, Switzerland, from an investor group led by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's Merchant Banking Group. Terms of the agreement were not announced.
    PFC, a fast-growing producer and distributor of active and intermediate pharmaceutical fine chemicals, will be part of AlliedSignal's Specialty Chemicals business.
