Bosch Automotive Group Announces Management ChangesFARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 19 -- Robert Bosch Corporation today announced that John Moulton has been named president of its Automotive Group. Effective July 1, 1998, Moulton replaces Dr. Helmut Schwarz, who has been appointed executive vice president of Bosch's new On-Board Electronics Division, headquartered in Schwieberdingen, Germany. In his new position, Moulton will be responsible for the coordination of Bosch's Automotive Group original equipment business in the United States. Prior to being named president, Moulton served as executive vice president - manufacturing and will continue to be in charge of all the Automotive Group's manufacturing operations as well as automotive operations for Robert Bosch SA de CV (Mexico). A graduate of Worchester Polytechnic Institute, where he holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Moulton joined Bosch in 1978. In addition, Reiner Emig has been named executive vice president of engineering for the Automotive Group, where he will oversee all the development and application engineering activities in the U.S. Emig previously served as vice president, engineering. A 22-year veteran at Bosch, he received his master's degree in systems technology from the University of Kaiserlautern, Kaiserlautern, Germany. Bosch designs and produces precision automotive components and systems sold to vehicle and powertrain manufacturers worldwide. These include systems and components for gasoline and diesel injection, airbag components, ABS and conventional brake systems, lighting components, as well as small motors, electrical equipment and electronics. Robert Bosch Corp. is the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
