Completes Consent Solicitation from Holders of the 10% Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2006 of Ryder TRS, Inc.DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., June 18 -- Budget Group, Inc. announced today that consents to certain amendments to the indenture relating to the US$175 million 10% Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2006 of Ryder TRS, Inc. have been received from holders of more than a majority of the total outstanding principal amount of the notes. Consents to the amendments were being solicited by Budget Group pursuant to an Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement dated June 5, 1998 ("Offer to Purchase Statement"). As described in the Offer to Purchase Statement, Budget Group's offer to purchase the Notes will expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on July 2, 1998.
