World Star Asia's Private Placement Announced May 8, 1998 Canceled

    RENO, Nev.--June 18, 1998--World Star Asia's (OTC BB:WSAS) private placement announced on May 8, 1998, has been canceled.
    The funds raised in this private placement were to have been used to further the Company's negotiations and acquisition of an American direct marketing company. The Company decided to cancel this private placement as the negotiations did not proceed as planned and the Company is pursuing a new business venture.
    Further information about the Company's new pursuit will be forthcoming.
