Nordstrom Samson Associates Receives ISO 9001 Certification

    DEARBORN, Mich., June 12 -- Nordstrom Samson Associates (NSA)
has successfully completed their ISO 9001 registration.  In achieving this
prestigious recognition, NSA becomes one of only a handful of full service
architectural & engineering firms in the nation to achieve this prestigious
accomplishment.
    In making the announcement, Frank A. Ray, AIA, president & CEO of NSA,
said, "I am extremely proud that our firm has achieved this goal because it
provides tangible proof of our ongoing commitment to provide innovative
services to our clients."
    Ray went on to say that by being an ISO 9001 firm, "... NSA ranks among

    NSA, founded in 1960, is a 35 person architectural and engineering firm
headquartered in Dearborn, MI.  It provides services to a broad range of
clients in both the public and private sectors.  NSA has successfully designed
and engineered automotive research and engineering facilities and laboratories
as well as educational and manufacturing facilities.  They have also completed
interior and exterior renovation projects and new design for municipalities,
financial institutions, hospitality companies, commercial offices and
corporate headquarters.
    Significant projects have been completed by NSA at Ford Motor Company
research and engineering center, Dearborn, MI; Chrysler's
McGraw glass plant in Detroit, MI; and at General Motors' proving
grounds in Milford, MI.  NSA provided the majority of the design for
remodeling in the Dearborn, MI public school district and is currently
providing the design and engineering for remodeling and expansion of all
facilities in the Ypsilanti, MI school district.  The firm was responsible for
design and construction of the Novi Hilton (Novi, MI) as well as remodeling &
