Federal-Mogul Appoints William E. Wyllie Director, Strategic Planning, Powertrain Systems - AmericasSOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 10 -- Michael C. Verwilst, vice president, Powertrain Systems - Americas, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the appointment of William E. Wyllie to director, strategic planning, Powertrain Systems - Americas effective immediately. Wyllie will report directly to Verwilst. "Bill has been a valuable member of my staff for a number of years and this appointment reflects the confidence that I have in him to tackle a multi-faceted assignment of strategic importance," said Verwilst. "He will be spending a great deal of time working within the global Powertrain Systems organization to help it come together as a single cohesive force in the supply of systems to our customers." In this new position, Wyllie will support Powertrain Systems - Americas with the overall business planning process, strategic acquisitions and accompanying due diligence. He will also work with the group's finance department to design and implement an economic value added-based power cylinder system pricing model, support strategic marketing initiatives across all Federal-Mogul product groups and support the global Powertrain Systems business where appropriate. Wyllie earned a Master of business administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from the University of Detroit.
