Autoliv Declares DividendSTOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 10 -- The Board of Directors of Autoliv Inc. (SSE: ALIV), a leading global automotive safety company, declared today a dividend of US $0.11 per share of common stock, payable on Sept. 3, 1998, to the Autoliv stockholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 6, 1998. Autoliv Inc. manufactures airbags for driver, passenger and side-impact applications, knee bolsters, seat belts, pretensioners, steering wheels, seat components, sensors and electronics for virtually all major automotive manufacturers in the world. Autoliv Inc. has 60 wholly-owned subsidiaries and joint ventures with close to 20,000 employees in 27 vehicle-producing countries. Sales in 1997 totaled US $3.3 billion. The company's shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange , its Swedish Depository Receipts on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (SSE: ALIV) and its stock options on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE: ALV).
