Donnelly Corporation Hires Vice President of EngineeringHOLLAND, Mich., June 9 -- Mark A. Stidham has joined Donnelly Corporation as vice president of engineering for North American Automotive Operations, the company announced today. Stidham, 41, comes to Donnelly with over 16 years experience in automotive engineering. In his new position, Stidham has responsibility for Donnelly's product development, application engineering and the delivery and support of new products. He will report to Donn Viola, chief operating officer of North America. Before joining Donnelly, Stidham worked for Britax Vision Systems North America as vice president of engineering and product development. During his time with the company, Stidham was responsible for all engineering activities and customer coordination for new product launches. Prior to Britax, Stidham held a number of increasingly responsible engineering and management positions at Atwood Automotive. "Mark has proven his ability to successfully design, develop and launch new products, and to lead his teams through times of great change in the industry," Viola said. "His talent and experience will provide a new level of depth to our management team and play an important role in Donnelly's drive to hold the lead in product innovation and customer service." Stidham, a native of Illinois, earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering technology from Purdue University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, and has been active in the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement.
