Ford Division Names Janet E. Klug Marketing Communications ManagerDETROIT, June 4 -- Ford Motor Company has named Janet E. Klug as the new Marketing Communications Manager for Ford Division. Klug joins Ford Division from Leo Burnett, U.S.A's Chicago office where she was senior vice president and account director on the Hallmark Cards account. Klug was responsible for the development of consumer communications strategies for the Hallmark portfolio of brands. "We are extremely pleased to have a person with Janet's wide range of experience join our team," said Darryl Hazel, general marketing manager of Ford Division. "She is recognized for her leadership on national advertising campaigns associated with Hallmark, Oldsmobile, McDonald's and Pillsbury." Klug replaces Gerard L. Donnelly, who has been named manager of field operations for Ford Division. Donnelly has served as Ford Division's marketing communications manager and national advertising manager since 1994. At Ford Division, Klug will be responsible for developing and implementing advertising and communication strategies for all Ford Division products. She will report to Hazel. Klug joined Leo Burnett 13 years ago and became an account supervisor for Pillsbury in 1990. Klug was named a vice president in 1991; one year later, she became account director for McDonald's Corporation and, in 1993, she was named account director for Oldsmobile. She joined the Hallmark account as senior vice president in 1997. Klug has bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the University of Illinois.
