Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure for Sealing Systems, Sales and Application Engineering
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 4 -- Mike Fisher, vice president,
sales and application engineering, Sealing Systems, Federal-Mogul Corporation
, announces the new organizational structure for sales and
application engineering, Sealing Systems - North America, with the following
appointments effective immediately:

    * Mike Hager, business manager
    * Larry Hartley, business manager
    * Jim Jacobs, business manager
    * Bill Johnston, business manager
    * Markus Wermers, business manager
    * Dennis Wolf, business manager
    * Ron Ziemba, business manager

    Mike Hager, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Mike Hager has been appointed business manager, Sealing Systems - North
America.  He will have responsibility for the heavy-duty Sealing Systems
accounts.
    Hager joined Federal-Mogul in 1986.  Throughout his career he has held a
variety of sales and sales management positions.  His most recent assignment
was heavy-duty sales and marketing manager for the Oil Seal and Gasket
operation.
    Hager earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from
Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan.

    Larry Hartley, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Larry Hartley has been appointed business manager, Sealing Systems - North
America.  He will have responsibility for the heavy-duty/specialty products
accounts.
    Hartley joined Fel-Pro in 1995 and has most recently held the position of
sales manager for the Specialty Sealing Products L.P. division.  Prior to Fel-
Pro, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in quality,
manufacturing, sales and sales management related to the sealing industry.
Hartley earned a Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of
Northern Iowa.

    Jim Jacobs, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Jim Jacobs has been appointed business manager, Sealing Systems - North
America.  He will have responsibility for the Cummins Engine and John Deere
accounts.
    Jacobs joined Fel-Pro in 1985.  Prior to this new position, Jacobs was
director of Fel-Pro's original equipment Heavy-Duty Sales and Application
Engineering group.  He has also held positions in sales, marketing, quality
assurance and process engineering.
    Jacobs earned a Bachelor's degree in education from the National College
of Education.  He also studied mechanical engineering at New Mexico State
University.

    Bill Johnston, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Bill Johnston has been appointed to business manager, Sealing Systems -
North America.  He will have responsibility for the General Motors account.
Johnston began his career with Federal-Mogul in 1980.  He has held a variety
of sales and sales management positions.  Prior to this new appointment,
Johnston was automotive sales and marketing manager for oil seal and gasket
operations.
    Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Indiana
State University.

    Markus Wermers, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Markus Wermers has been appointed to business manager, Sealing Systems -
North America.  He will have responsibility for the Ford account.
    Wermers joined the T&N organization in 1991.  He has held a variety of
positions including project manager, Ford UK at Goetze AG, Burscheid and sales
and marketing director, Automotive Sealing Product group, Goetze Payen,
Herdorf.  His most recent appointment was vice president, sales and marketing,
McCord Payen, Inc., Allen Park, Michigan.
    Wermers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from
the Specialized University at Cologne.

    Dennis Wolf, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Dennis Wolf has been appointed to business manager, Sealing Systems -
North America.  He will have responsibility for the Chrysler account.
    Wolf returns to Federal-Mogul after nine years with Fel-Pro.  Wolf worked
for Federal-Mogul from 1984 to 1987 as a product engineer and an application
engineer before joining Selastomer, Inc. as an application engineer.  With
Fel-Pro, he worked in the positions of senior application engineer and most
recently as director, original equipment automotive sales.
    Wolf earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from
the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio.

    Ron Ziemba, Business Manager, Sealing Systems - North America
    Ron Ziemba has been appointed business manager, Sealing Systems - North
America.  He will have responsibility for the Japanese and Mexican original
equipment accounts.
    Ziemba began his career with T&N in 1981.  Prior to this appointment,
Ziemba has held engineering and sales management positions with the Goetze
organization.  His most recent position was product manager of cylinder head
gaskets and heatshields with McCord Payen Inc.'s Wyandotte, Michigan office.
Before joining T&N, Ziemba was with Detroit Diesel.
    Ziemba earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from
General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan.
