Standard Products' Goldsboro Division Receives Gold Pentastar Award from ChryslerDEARBORN, Mich., June 1 -- The Standard Products Company announced today its division in Goldsboro, North Carolina, has been awarded Chrysler Corporation's Gold Pentastar Award for the second straight year. This award is given to the top one percent of Chrysler suppliers for excelling in the areas of quality, delivery, warranty, cost savings, customer support and technology, and competitive pricing. The Goldsboro division manufactures door sealing systems for a number of Chrysler models. The facility also manufactures a variety of weatherstripping seals, glass run channel assembly systems and windshield molding. Nance Taylor, supplier quality specialist, presented the award to Standard Product's Goldsboro Chrysler team at an employee assembly, stating, "This award symbolizes the level of commitment to Chrysler and its extended enterprise philosophy. The award demonstrates Goldsboro's ongoing pledge to quality, performance and delivery." Standard Products manufactures sealing, trim and vibration control systems for the automotive original equipment industry in North and South America and Europe. Its Holm Industries subsidiary produces seals for residential and commercial appliances, doors and windows.
