ECCO Capital Appoints Auditors and Outside Counsel

    Official States that the Company is Better Positioned to Meet Demands
                               of Being Public

    MINNEAPOLIS, June 1 -- ECCO Capital Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: ECCP) announced today that it has engaged Twin
Cities-based Carver Moquist Alagna, LLC, as the Company's auditors and has
named Duckson and Carlson, Minneapolis, as its outside legal counsel.
    Cullen Grandlund, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ECCO Capital,
commented, "With the appointment of these established and capable
professionals, we are now positioned to better meet the demands of being a
growing, public company."
    ECCO Capital Corporation was formed in 1997 when Metro Fleet Sales and
Leasing, Inc. of St. Louis Park, Minn. merged into a dormant public shell.
Metro Fleet Sales and Leasing has been engaged since 1993 in the business of
offering and operating a unique leasing program featuring reliable used cars
which are leased at attractive low monthly rates.
