Nissan Announces $100 Challenge Nissan Puts Money Where Its Mouth Is
    TORRANCE, Calif., May 29 -- Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A.
(NMC) today announced the Nissan $100 Challenge.  Nissan is so confident in
its products that if a person test drives any new 1998 Nissan car or truck
between June 1 and July 6, 1998, and then buys or leases a new 1998 Honda or
Toyota car or truck within 30 days of the test drive, Nissan will give the
individual $100.
    "It's a program that says we have tremendous confidence in our products.
After test driving, we know consumers will want to buy a Nissan over our
competitors," said vice president, general manager of the Nissan Division,
Mike Seergy.
