Filtrete(TM) Cabin Air Filters From 3M Achieve QS9000 Registration

    DETROIT, May 29 -- An important milestone for 3M(TM)
Filtration Products was announced today by Quality Manager Larry Sweet.
"3M Filtration Products has achieved QS9000 registration for its North
American cabin air filter operations," Sweet stated.
    The Cabin Air Filtration team within 3M Automotive officially received
QS9000 registration in April.  Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. conducted a
week long audit and found the Filtrete Cabin Air Filter line compliant to the
QS standards.  This registration encompasses all disciplines supporting the
cabin air filtration line, including sales, engineering, laboratory and
manufacturing.
