BCAM International, Inc. and Textron Receive Funding From Major Manufacturer to Develop New Products Incorporating BCAM'S Body-Conforming Technology
        BCAM Receives First Royalty Check From Textron for Technology
                          in Cadillac Seville Seats

    MELVILLE, N.Y., May 28 -- BCAM International, Inc.
, the developer of a revolutionary patented Intelligent Surface
Technology (IST) and microvalve technology, announced today that a leading
manufacturer outside the automotive industry is funding the development of
products that will incorporate its proprietary technology.  The Company said
that the manufacturer has made a commitment to introduce the new products with
BCAM International's patented Intelligent Surface Technology during 1998.
    Textron Automotive, a division of Textron, Inc. , which has the
exclusive license to use IST in the manufacturing and sale of seats and
seating components for transportation, hospital beds, wheelchairs and office
chairs, will develop the systems for these products.
    Michael Strauss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BCAM
International said, "This commitment is the first commercial application using
our proprietary technology outside of the automotive industry.  These products
will greatly increase the number of consumers who will discover the enormous
benefits in comfort and fit when a product conforms to an individual's unique
body imprint.  We believe this is the first in a long list of applications
that will incorporate this proprietary ergonomic technology."
    The Company also announced that it had received its first royalty check
from Textron Automotive for sales of 1998 Cadillac Seville STS models that
incorporated this technology into the driver and passenger seats.  It is also
expected that in 1999, IST technology will be introduced in several other 1999
automobile models.
    Strauss said, "This is a major milestone for BCAM International.  After
heavy investment, many years of development and after receiving eight (8)
patents for this technology, this is the first royalty check for the use of
IST for any commercial product."
    In addition to its license arrangement with Textron Automotive, BCAM
International has strategic alliances with:

    -- Reebok International Inc. has an exclusive license to incorporate IST
       into sports, fitness and casual footwear;
    -- Sealy Inc., a leading maker of bedding and mattress products, has an
       option to use IST in the bedding field;

    BCAM International Inc., Melville, New York, specializes in the
development of technology that enables surfaces touching the body, including
in seating, footwear and mattresses, to automatically to adjust themselves in
real time to conform to any part of the body for utmost of comfort, fit and
enhanced user performance.  The Company is also engaged in the consolidation
of the highly fragmented medical footcare industry.
