MSX International Appoints Key Senior Management To Enhance Customer Focus, Global Expansion
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 26 -- In a move to intensify its
focus on worldwide customer operations and to aggressively pursue global
growth, MSX International has appointed Roger Fridholm as president of the
company's Business, Technology and Staffing Services Division and John Risk as
president of MSX's Product Development Services Division.
MSX Chairman of the Board, Bill Billig, has assumed the additional
responsibilities of chief executive officer. Ralph Miller, previously MSX
president and chief operating officer, has been named special assistant to the
chairman of the board to focus on formulating business strategy and seeking
worldwide development opportunities.
As president of MSX's Business, Technology and Staffing Services Division,
Fridholm leads the company's business units which provide a range of
technology-based services designed to increase customer productivity and
efficiency. Primary services include contract staffing, information
management and the outsourcing of key functions.
Fridholm is the former president and chief operating officer of The Stroh
Brewery Company where he continues to serve on the board of directors. His
career also includes executive positions with several staffing industry
companies including senior vice president of corporate development for Kelly
Services, Inc.
As president of MSX's Product Development Services Division, Risk directs
the company's units which focus on vehicles and other highly-engineered,
durable products. His international automotive experience will enable MSX to
better support customers' global requirements and consolidation efforts, as
well as accelerate the division's global integration.
Risk's career is highlighted by 33 years at Ford Motor Company where he
directed a range of key domestic and international operations, most recently
the European and U.S. Small Car Programs -- which produced the Ka. During his
years with Ford, Risk also served as director of the Taurus/Sable Program, as
well as chief engineer of the corporation's Advanced Engineering Division.
"Roger Fridholm and John Risk will lead MSX in expanding our relationships
with current customers and identifying opportunities to attract new customers
by leveraging our technology and processes," said Billig. "We believe their
appointments underscore MSX's intense focus on using technology to deliver
process improvement and cost savings. We've forged long-term partnerships
with many international Fortune 500 customers. Now we will offer that same
expertise to industries and geographic locations well beyond our traditional
business base."
With annual sales exceeding $1 billion, MSX International employs more than
12,000 professional staff and contract personnel in 53 operating locations and
22 countries across North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Calling on
the expertise of its Business, Technology and Staffing Services Division and
Product Development Services Division, MSX offers its customers a wide range
of technology-based services both on-site and off-site.
