Chrysler Reports Assembly Plants Schedule

Chrysler Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plants Schedule For Week of May 25, 1998
    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 21 -- Chrysler Corporation
reports eight of its nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly
plants will operate the week of May 25, 1998.  All U.S. plants will be closed
Monday, May 25 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
    St. Louis-South (Fenton, Mo.), Sterling Heights (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio)
will operate two eight-hour shifts.  Belvidere (Ill.) will operate two
eight-and-a-half hour shifts.  Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (Mich.), Newark
(Del.) and St. Louis-North (Fenton, Mo.) will operate two nine-hour shifts.
Conner Ave. (Mich.) will operate one eight-hour shift, Jefferson-North
(Detroit, Mich.) will not operate due to model changeover.
    In Ontario, Canada, the Windsor Assembly Plant will operate three
seven-and-a-half hour shifts during the week and three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts on Saturday, May 23.  Bramalea will operate two eight-hour shifts.
Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts during the week and two eight-hour
shifts on Saturday, May 23.
