Federal-Mogul Completes Exit of Retail Store Operations

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 21 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation
announced it has completely exited the operation of automotive
retail stores worldwide with the recent sale and closure of its retail stores
in Puerto Rico.
    Federal-Mogul has sold 19 stores to several Puerto Rican interests and has
closed the remaining sites.  Terms of the sales were not disclosed.
    Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, Federal-Mogul is a $5 billion
