Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure for Corporate Human ResourcesSOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 18 -- Richard P. Randazzo, vice president, human resources, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the organizational structure for corporate human resources with the following appointments effective immediately: -- Joseph Breitenbeck, director, compensation and benefits -- Reg Brown, director, human resources operations, headquarters -- Fred Duranko, director, human resources planning -- Tom King, chief pilot -- Mark Westbrook, manager, global security Joseph Breitenbeck, Director, Compensation and Benefits Joseph Breitenbeck is director, compensation and benefits. Breitenbeck will be responsible for employee benefit programs on a worldwide basis as well as compensation programs for non-represented employees. His responsibilities will also include human resources information systems on a corporate-wide basis. Breitenbeck has seven years' experience with Federal-Mogul as manager, benefits. Prior to that he held benefits management and human resources generalist roles at Royal Maccabees Insurance Company. Breitenbeck earned a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in industrial relations from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Breitenbeck announces the following staff appointments: * Carol Gryka, manager, health and welfare plans * Phil Himebaugh, manager, employee services * Mary Lou Porrazzo, manager, human resources information systems * Rich Stewart, manager, pension and capital accumulation plans Carol Gryka, Manager, Health and Welfare Plans Carol Gryka is manager, health and welfare plans. Gryka is responsible for the design and management of Federal-Mogul's group life insurance program, medical plans, and disability programs. She is also responsible for legal compliance and communication of the company's welfare plans. Prior to this appointment, Gryka was benefits administrator. She joined Federal-Mogul in 1993 as a benefits supervisor. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, she was benefits and compensation administrator for Royal Maccabees Life Insurance. Gryka earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration - finance from Walsh College, Troy, Michigan. Phil Himebaugh, Manager, Employee Services Phil Himebaugh is manager, employee services. Himebaugh is responsible for the newly created shared services department, including benefits, personnel record maintenance, new hire orientations, help desk services, retiree assistance, and relocation for Southfield, service center, hub and outside sales employees. Prior to this appointment Himebaugh was human resources manager. He joined Federal-Mogul in 1965 and has held operational and staff human resources roles of increasing responsibility. Himebaugh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. Mary Lou Porrazzo, Manager, Human Resources Information Systems Mary Lou Porrazzo is manager, human resources information systems. Porrazzo is responsible for coordination, design and development of the organization's human resources databases. Prior to this appointment, Porrazzo was human resources manager. Porrazzo joined Federal-Mogul in 1982 and held positions including the management of Federal-Mogul HRIS systems, corporate recruitment and salary administration. Porrazzo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Iona College, New Rochelle, New York. Rich Stewart, Manager, Pension and Capital Accumulation Plans Rich Stewart is manager, pension and capital accumulation plans. Stewart is responsible for the design and management of Federal-Mogul's pension, 401K and stock option programs. Prior to this appointment, Stewart was benefits finance manager. He joined Federal-Mogul in 1981 as an auditor. His prior responsibilities included all areas of benefit program design and delivery. Stewart earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Detroit and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Walsh College, Troy, Michigan. Reg Brown, Director, Human Resources Operations, Headquarters Reg Brown is director, human resources operations, headquarters. He will have human resources responsibility for the corporate staff functions. Brown has 21 years with Federal-Mogul in both staff and line human resources capacities. He earned a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in human resources from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Brown announces the following staff appointments: * Heather Kelly, human resources representative * To be determined, additional human resources representative Heather Kelly, Human Resources Representative Heather Kelly is human resources representative. Kelly is responsible for providing human resources services to the corporate departments and human resources projects in such areas as affirmative action and intern recruiting and training. Kelly joined Federal-Mogul in 1997. Prior to Federal-Mogul, she was a human resources and labor representative with the Flint Ink Corporation. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in human resources from Michigan State University. Fred Duranko, Director, Human Resources Planning Fred Duranko is director, human resources planning. He will be responsible for providing initiatives in the areas of training and development, employment, policies and organization development. Duranko joined Federal-Mogul in 1997. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, he was human resources manager for the information services group at Chase Manhattan Bank. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. Duranko announces the following staff appointments: * Dorie Blesoff, manager, organization development * Charlie Colwell, manager, common tools training * Jackie Coburn, staffing manager Dorie Blesoff, Manager, Organization Development Dorie Blesoff is manager, organization development. She is responsible for the design and implementation of training and development programs throughout Federal-Mogul. Blesoff joined Federal-Mogul in February 1998. Prior to this appointment Blesoff was manager, organization development for Fel-Pro, which she joined in 1995. Blesoff earned a Master of Science degree in organizational development from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature from American University, Washington, D.C. Charlie Colwell, Manager, Common Tools Training Charlie Colwell is manager, common tools training. Colwell is responsible for the delivery of common tools training programs such as constraint management, problem solving techniques, and reengineering project management. Prior to this appointment Colwell was regional customer service manager. He joined Federal-Mogul in 1986. Colwell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and management, from Albion College, Albion, Michigan. Jackie Coburn, Staffing Manager Jackie Coburn is staffing manager and is responsible for staffing at headquarters and field locations as required. Coburn joined Federal-Mogul in 1973 and previously held human resources support roles with the corporate staff and worldwide aftermarket operations. Coburn earned an Associate of Arts degree in business administration from Oakland Community College in Michigan. Tom King, Chief Pilot Tom King is chief pilot. King has responsibility for all aspects of Federal-Mogul's flight operations including crew selection and training, aircraft maintenance, scheduling, and passenger service. King joined Federal-Mogul in 1984. He was previously chief pilot at Prior Aviation Service and served seven years in the U.S. Navy as a pilot. King earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Brockport. Mark Westbrook, Manager, Global Security Mark Westbrook is manager, global security. His responsibilities include personnel and property security for the corporation. Westbrook joined Federal-Mogul in 1984. He earned a Master of Science degree in security administration from the University of Detroit and a Bachelor of Science degree in security administration from Madonna College.
