Hewlett-Packard Dedicates Division to Automotive SolutionsAutomotive Solutions Division to Focus Exclusively On Electronics Technology for Automakers and Suppliers PALO ALTO, Calif., May 14 -- As part of an ongoing effort to enhance and focus its long-term commitment to the automotive industry, Hewlett-Packard Company has dedicated a division to providing industry customers with cost-effective, electronics technology. Formerly known as the Integrated Systems Division, HP's Automotive Solutions Division already has had years of experience serving the automotive business. Now the division will concentrate exclusively on developing automotive solutions and also will function as HP's automotive hub, helping customers leverage the variety of technologies offered by the entire company. These include lighting components, tools for developing automotive electronics and design solutions.
