i2 Technologies Establishes Industry Business Units For Its Vertical Supply Chain Markets

   Business Units Deliver Customized Solutions For Automotive & Industrial,
          Consumer Packaged Goods and High Technology & Electronics

    IRVING, Texas, May 13 -- i2 Technologies, Inc.
, the leading provider of supply chain optimization and decision
support solutions, has announced the formation of industry business units for
Automotive & Industrial, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and High Technology &
Electronics.  Additional industry business units will be announced within the
next six months.  These three new i2 business units represent a further
commitment from i2 to capitalize on its deep domain knowledge of these
industries and to continue to strengthen its unique customer-centric
solutions.

    Business Unit Leaders
    At the time of this announcement i2 has appointed the following business
unit executives:
    -- Chandran Sankaran has been named Vice President for the High Technology
& Electronics business unit, which will be headquartered in San Francisco, CA.
    -- Sandeep Tungare, President, Demand Management, will also direct the CPG
business unit which will be based in Parsippany, NJ.
    -- Steven Minisini has been named Vice President Sales for the Automotive
and Industrial business unit, which will be headquartered in the Detroit area.
    Each of these industry business units will be supported by i2's worldwide
network of sales, consulting, development and support offices.
