Federal-Mogul Awarded Vendor of the Year From Federated Auto Parts

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 13 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation
has been awarded Vendor of the Year and Honorable Mention from
Federated Auto Parts.
    "We are honored to receive these awards," said Mike Schultz, vice
president and general manager, sales, North American Aftermarket.  "Our team

    Awards are given annually to suppliers that excel in leadership,
marketing, training and sales support.  All winners are selected by the
membership of Federated Auto Parts, which consists of 100 warehouse
distributors operating 140 distribution centers.  The awards were presented
during Federated's annual national meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.
    "We grade all aspects of the manufacturer," said Richard Cox, marketing
manager, Federated Auto Parts.  "Our members look at total performance from
product reliability, delivery and service, all the way to the quality of the
office support.  These are awards that the manufacturer must work for every
day, they are not automatic."
