Lucas Body Systems Appoints Peter Drummond Vice President & General Manager, Sales And Marketing

    TROY, Mich., May 13 -- Lucas Body Systems, a business of
LucasVarity's Electrical and Electronic Systems Division, has named Peter
Drummond, vice president and general manager, Sales and Marketing, Lucas Body
Systems.  Drummond was formerly vice president and general manager of the
Lucas Body Systems facilities in Rushford, Minn., and Ettrick, Wisc.  He
reports to Anthony J. Bridges, director and general manager, Lucas Body
Systems.  Drummond will be based at the Lucas Body Systems office in Troy,
Mich.
    Drummond is responsible for all areas of sales and marketing for Lucas
Body Systems on a worldwide basis.  He has held various positions in sales and
marketing, program management and general management since joining the Group
in 1985.

president and general manager of sales and marketing," said Anthony J.
Bridges, general manager, Lucas Body Systems.  "He will provide a new
dimension to our sales and marketing activities."
    Drummond has a Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering
from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Scotland, and a Master's degree in the
management of technology from MIT, Cambridge, Mass.
