Federal-Mogul Plant in Indiana Win Saturn Quality Award

Federal-Mogul's Frankfort, Indiana Facility Earns Saturn's Quality Recognition Award

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 12 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation's
Frankfort, Indiana manufacturing facility has earned Saturn's
Quality Recognition Award.
    Awards are given annually to suppliers that exceed Saturn's stringent
quality criteria by having less than 25 parts-per-million nonconformance,
maintaining a shipping performance of 95 percent or better, and are proactive
in developing cost improvements.
    "The Frankfort team has worked very hard and this award is a tribute to
their efforts in maintaining a true partnership with Saturn," said Rick
Streicher, vice president, Sealing Systems - North America.  "I am extremely
pleased with their dedication and outstanding commitment to providing our
customers with quality, innovative products and services."
    The awards were presented at a reception at the Union Station in Spring
Hill, Tennessee.  This is the sixth year Saturn held an award ceremony for its
suppliers who exceed Saturn's expectations.

    Federal-Mogul's Frankfort facility manufactures a large variety of oil
seal products including Federal-Mogul's Unipiston(R), a single-piece bonded
transmission piston.
