Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure for North American Aftermarket MarketingSOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 5 -- Jeff J. O'Neill, vice president, marketing, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the organizational structure for North American Aftermarket marketing with the following appointments effective immediately: * Harvey Diedrich, director, marketing, undercar * Mario Pieroni, vice president, retail sales * Bill Quigley, director, marketing services * Mike Valant, director, customer communications Additional announcements will be made as further appointments are finalized. Harvey Diedrich, Director, Marketing, Undercar Harvey Diedrich is appointed director, marketing, undercar. Diedrich joins Federal-Mogul with extensive marketing, promotional and customer service experience in the automotive aftermarket arena. His career spans more than 25 years with Tenneco Automotive and its subsidiaries. Diedrich most recently held the position of group marketing manager - program management at Tenneco. In this position, he was responsible for all trade and consumer programs across all brands and channels, including development and launch of Expert Plus, Tenneco's first multi-level, multi- brand trade loyalty program. Mario Pieroni, Vice President, Retail Sales Mario Pieroni is vice president, retail sales reporting to Michael L. Schultz, vice president and general manager, Sales, North American Aftermarket. Pieroni was previously vice president of marketing at Fel-Pro. He also held other sales and marketing management positions since joining Fel- Pro in 1984. Along with his responsibilities in retail sales, Pieroni will provide functional leadership for gasket marketing. Bill Quigley, Director, Marketing Services Bill Quigley is director, marketing services. Quigley's responsibilities include aftermarket pricing, cataloging, product management and performance marketing. Quigley joined Federal-Mogul in 1994 as an accounting manager and was later named aftermarket controller. Quigley was then appointed marketing services director for global sourcing. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Quigley was assistant controller of corporate finance for Nissan Research and Development. Quigley earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Michigan State University. Mike Valant, Director, Customer Communications Mike Valant has been appointed director, customer communications. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for the technical services customer information lines, customer and sales training and marketing communications, including advertising, merchandising and promotions. Valant joined the company in January, 1998 as director of marketing, undercar. Valant has a background in advertising and brand marketing with Campbell- Ewald and DMB&B. Valant earned an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Michigan.
