Federal-Mogul Appoints Richard Dunnett Director, Inventory Science And Aftermarket Sourcing

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 5 -- Kevin Baird, vice president,
logistics, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the appointment of
Richard Dunnett, to the position of director, inventory science and
aftermarket sourcing effective immediately.
    "Richard and his team have played a significant role in the aftermarket
working capital improvements over the past two years," said Baird.  "His
experience with both the domestic and international supply chains, coupled
with our recent decision to combine sourcing and inventory functions into
teams, makes him an excellent candidate for these additional
responsibilities."
    Dunnett has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in
both international and domestic inventory management.  Prior to his current
appointment, Dunnett held the position of director, inventory science, with
domestic and international inventory management responsibilities.
    Dunnett joined Federal-Mogul in 1981 and assumed responsibility for
inventory control in South Africa.  His position was then expanded to include
both purchasing and physical distribution functions.  Dunnett relocated to the
United States in 1990 upon accepting the position of director, international
sourcing and logistics.
