Infiniti Reports April Sales

    CARSON, Calif., May 1 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A. (NMC), reported April sales of 3,865 units, up
4.1 percent versus last year.
    With sales of 1,838 units, the Infiniti I30 is up 15.7 percent versus last
year.  The Q45, Infiniti's flagship luxury performance sedan, posted April
sales of 624 units, and the QX4 had April sales of 1,099 units.
NMC sales for April, including Nissan and Infiniti Divisions, totaled 38,888
units.
