GM Names a Financial Services Company as 'Supplier of the Year'

General Motors Names a Financial Services Company as 'Supplier of the Year' For the 1st Time in its History;

         Michigan-based BBK, Ltd. Is Recognized as a Worldwide Leader
                              Among GM Suppliers

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 27 -- A financial services company
was honored today by General Motors Corporation as "Supplier of the
Year."  It is the first time a financial services company of any kind has won
the prestigious honor.  BBK, Ltd. received the award during a ceremony at GM
Tribute '98 in Mexico City.  BBK, Ltd., based in Southfield, Mich., is a
leading corporate revitalization and financial consulting company.
    "The fact that this is the first time we have chosen a financial services
company for this award says a lot about the accomplishments of BBK, Ltd.  BBK
demonstrated throughout 1997 it is among the 'Best of the Best' suppliers for
assisting GM with financial and operational matters involving suppliers," said
Harold R. Kutner, GM's Vice President for Worldwide Purchasing and North
American Production Control & Logistics.  "BBK is truly globally competitive
and, by virtue of this award, is recognized as a worldwide leader in
continuous improvement, value and most important, quality."
    BBK, Ltd. President B.N. Bahadur who received the award at the
presentation in Mexico City, said, "We are the first-ever financial services

ago and were expanded to all of GM Europe in 1989.  The Supplier of the Year
awards became an international award in 1992.
