Lithia Motors Inc. Announces First Quarter Results

    MEDFORD, Ore., April 23 -- Lithia Motors, Inc.,
, today announced that revenues were $146.2 million in the first
quarter of 1998 compared to $54.7 million in the first quarter of 1997.  The
net earnings were $1.52 million compared to $1.14 million in the first quarter
of 1997 or $0.21 per share (diluted) vs. $0.16 per share (diluted) in the same
quarter of 1997.
