Auto Expert Donna L. Parolini Expands into L.A. Area

20 April 1998

Leading Automotive Expert, Donna L. Parolini, Expanding to Los Angeles Area

TROY, Mich., April 20 -- In order to bring advanced
technology to the automotive supply base and expand her work with the Asia-
Pacific market, leading automotive industry analyst Donna L. Parolini,
president of International Business Development Corp. (IBD Corp.) is expanding
into the Los Angeles marketplace.
Parolini frequently works with top automotive executives from North
America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. By expanding to California, Parolini will
gain insight into new electronic technologies and connect them with the global
supply base. This coupling will establish a larger presence within the Asia-
Pacific electronic market.
"In the United States, a barrier exists between the Asia-Pacific market
and North American and European markets," said Parolini. "By establishing a
presence on the West Coast -- in addition to Detroit and Amsterdam -- I am
looking to link these three major markets in a way that hasn't been done
before."
The Los Angeles office will be located at 1525-A Artista Blvd., Manhattan
Beach, CA 90266, phone 310-714-5060, near the Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX).
"California is playing a much larger role in the automotive industry,
especially in design and advanced technology," Parolini added. "There are 15
major design studios in Southern California, influencing nearly every major
automaker around the world. It is essential that I establish a presence
there."
Parolini has worked with some of the world's largest automotive
corporations, including General Motors, Toyota Motor Company, Nippon
Corporation, Shell Corporation, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Honda
Motors and E.I. DuPont & Company, among others.
Recently, Parolini introduced the "Automotive Supplier Authority: New
Customers of the 21st Century," a dynamic, interactive database and mapping
system available through the Internet. The database was designed to reduce
research time by allowing the user to map suppliers around the world by
vehicle system, sub-system, country, company, and sales volume.
Founded in 1987, IBD Corp. is dedicated to preparing top management of
leading automotive suppliers and other companies for business cycle changes,
by developing personalized long-range growth strategies. The company focuses
its resources on providing corporate strategic management behavior models,
based on years of actual experience in product and corporate strategy, product
engineering and expansive research.
Donna Parolini has 20 years experience studying and analyzing the
worldwide automotive industry and its supply base, predicting movement shifts
and significant trends. Information comes from personal contact with
suppliers, automakers, educators and government officials from around the
world. Parolini's Automotive Supplier Councils, in their 10th year, provide
strategic direction and resources for the global supplier industry.
