Hayes Lemmerz Gets 3 Dodge and Plymouth Orders for Brake Parts

Hayes Lemmerz International Receives Three Orders for Brake Components for The Dodge Ram Van and Dodge and Plymouth Neon

    ROMULUS, Mich., April 14 -- Hayes Lemmerz International
, the world's leading supplier of wheels and brake components to
the transportation industry, is proud to announce that it has received three
orders for front rotors and rear drums for the 1998 Dodge Ram Van and the 1998
Dodge and Plymouth Neon.
    The three contracts totaling over $6 million combined, will be produced by
the Hayes manufacturing facilities in Homer, Michigan and Monterrey, Mexico.
The Homer plant, located 60 miles outside of Detroit, employs 250.  The award
to be filled by the Hayes' Monterrey facility is the first to be received for
the Venezuela market.
