Charles R. Hughes, President, Land Rover North America, Inc., said, "Land
Rover has covered a lot of ground since the brand was introduced at the
Amsterdam Motor Show on April 30, 1948. We are proud of that achievement and
proud to offer these very distinctive vehicles. Our customers have shown
interest in limited-edition models and we believe 50th Anniversary Discoverys
and Range Rovers will meet their high expectations. These are great looking
vehicles and a fitting testament to the heritage of the Best 4X4 X Far."
The 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE 50th Anniversary Edition sports Woodcote Green
paint that adds a golden translucence to the exterior finish, perfect for Land
Rover's golden anniversary. Walnut leather interior trim with Lightstone
piping, plus Lightstone carpets and door trim are also featured. The vehicle
