Textron Automotive Names Executive Vice President

Textron Automotive Company Names John S. Hay Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

    TROY, Mich., April 6 -- Textron Automotive Company Inc. today
announced the appointment of John S. Hay to the position of Executive Vice
President, Human Resources and Administration.
    Mr. Hay, formerly an Executive Director for Pacific Technology Group, will
report to John A. Janitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Textron Automotive
Company and will have responsibility for all Automotive Segment Human
Resources responsibilities.
    Prior to his appointment with Pacific Technology Group in 1993, Mr. Hay
held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility during his 20-year
career with General Motors.
    "John is a welcomed asset to Textron Automotive's senior management team.
He is a seasoned human resources professional who will make a significant
contribution to the accomplishment of our organization's strategic
objectives," said Mr. Janitz.
    Mr. Hay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College,
Crawfordsville, Indiana and is a graduate of Harvard University's Management
Development Program.
