MascoTech, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend

    TAYLOR, Mich., April 2 -- MascoTech, Inc.
announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend
of $.06 per common share payable May 11, 1998 to shareholders of record on
April 17, 1998.

forming process capabilities and proprietary product positions serving
